    Description

    This 1936 linen postcard shows an "early scene of Fort Knox on Wabash River near Vincennes, Ind., favorite Indian stamping grounds.  Zachary Taylor, afterwards President of the U. S., was in command at the fort in 1811."  Manufactured by Curt Teich, the postcard is standard size (5.5" x 3.5"), production number 6A-H967, and unused.  See both scans for the condition.
