    Description

    This is a vintage divided back postcard, circa 1908-1918 featuring the General Lew Wallace monument in Crawfordsville, Indiana.  Lew Wallace was a celebrated Union General in the Civil War.  After the war, he returned home to Crawfordsville and wrote the novel Ben Hur.  He died in 1905.  This monument is located at the Oak Hill cemetery in Crawfordsville.
    Postcard has corner and edgewear and creases in the corner.  Stamp has been removed from the back of the postcard.  See pics for details.
